Can I send items directly to my friends or family?

Yes you can, that's no problem. On the item you'd like to send click the box that say's 'is this item a gift?' this will open boxes for you to add the details and add a gift message. You can add their address at the checkout. please note you will be charged for shipping for each separate address.

Jane you've made an error on my order what can I do

I try my very best not to make mistakes but they do occasionally happen I'm only human and I hand stitch each piece. Firstly please don't worry. Get in touch with me as soon as you spot it and I will get it remade and on the way to you as soon as I possibly can. If you reply to your order confirmation that way i have all the information I need.

I've made a spelling mistake on my order, what shall I do?

We all make mistakes so don't worry as soon as you notice you've made a mistake please reply to your order confirmation and i will amend your order. If I have already stitched it then I'm afraid there isn't anything I can do.

Can I collect my order from you?

If you wish to collect your order from an event please let me know and I will arrange for your items to be there, I do not accept collections direct from the studio.

What is free hand embroidery?

Free hand embroidery also known has free machine embroidery or free motion embroidery is a technique of using a standard sewing machine to draw or write without the use of computer programs. You use a special machine foot and your hands to guide the fabric while using the thread to write. It's a tricky but fun skill to learn. Over on my instagram feed you can see videos of me stitching so you can get a better idea of how it works.

Can I return my order?

I am willing to accept returns, please contact me within 14 days of receipt to arrange this with the order number and the name of the item you wish to return.  We will then let you know the address and details of how to return the item. Please email me on janekent_studio@outlook.com.

Please note personalised items are only accepted if they are faulty.

Can I request a bespoke order?

The majority of my work is made to order and you can select the colours and wording you want from the listing. If you'd like something completely bespoke please use our contact page and I will try my best to help you. I will make bespoke pieces for you but not a super busy times.

Do you sell to wholesale customers?

At the moment I only have a small capacity to work on a wholesale basis, if you have a shop and are interested in stocking my work please do get in touch to chat about it.

How much is shipping?

I send all orders by Royal Mail on a first class post service, there is a flat rate charge of £3.50 per order however many items you order.

When should I expect my items?

I hand stitch each item to order so you get exactly what you'd like, please allow 10-15 working days for your items to be made and dispatched. If you have a tight deadline please do get in touch before you place your order and I'll do my best to accommodate you.

How long does delivery take?

All items ordered will be posted 1st class via Royal Mail, most items arrive within 24-48 hours from dispatch although please allow a week and a little longer at peak times.

Where do you ship to?

I currently only ship within the UK, including Northern Ireland & the Channel Islands too.
