I shared this piece in October 2019 as part of Baby Loss Awareness Week for the Wave of Light. I talked about my experience of baby loss - it can be such a taboo subject, but it affects 1 in 4 pregnancies.
It was one of my most talked-about social media posts of the year, and as a result, I spent much of the autumn posting these textile candles all over the UK.
A Candle That’s Always Lit: the In Loving Memory Embroidery Frame
Due to the high levels of interest, I created the In Memory range to give people a keepsake of those you love and have lost.
This particular design was inspired by the Wave of Light, and features an appliqué candle with free motion detail, and the words “I will always remember you.”
Because no matter how many years go by, you will always remember them - the anniversaries, the milestones, and the things that might have been.
You can personalise the design with a name, or you can add your own words to create something that is exactly as you want it.
This design is part of my “In Memory” range. For every piece sold in this range, 20% will be gifted to a charity that helps people in their grief. This will change through the year, but it will always be a charity that focuses on grief.
